evaporator OBD canister

if that's the charcoal canister, I think it is a rectangular box with a bunch of hoses coming out one end, up under the vehicle behind the rear drivers side wheel well. I looked, can't seem to find a picture

I actually went out and looked, and it is up underneath, straight in from the drivers side rear wheel (I was close) Here is a pic of what I think you are asking about, looking up from the back of the car.

I'm new to this site....have no clue what I am doing BUT I have a 2005 Vibe...and my mechanic replaced an part the evaporator canister (maybe?)...definitely something to do with the evaporator for large amounts of money....the engine light came on a few days later...now I was told the part was faulty (after market?) and they have taken a month (plus or minus) are trying to find the part. Does this sound true? Thank you..Julygirl4247
