Well, what do you think?

Post by damronjr »

Personally, I these new rims! I love the way the color matches! They look even better when the car is up at ride hieght, so I will have to take some more later. I got them from Phil on MO, much thanks to Phil for he hook-up!

Someday (probably about the same time the bumper isdone as well) it will all be painted silver. I was thinking about changing the color of the car all together, but after putting these rims on, I think I will most likely be keeping it silver!

I like the rims, Jason! Very nice! I like them better than your old ones. These match your car better. All you need to do now it get some side skirts made, get it all painted up and enter it in some local car shows and get some awards for all your hard work! Everything will come together once it is painted the same color. I have to commend you on all you have done with your Vibe. You have taken it to a level that no one else has. Good for you!

well, i love the rims! but you have to get that bumper painted. the spoiler is a bit much to me, but it's not bright blue and i can live with that. however, the unpainted bumper may land you a rice ticket, my friend.

For all those interested in getting my car pieces painted the same color, just contact me and I will give you my paypal address so you can send donations, then it will get done ASAP! It is planned, just cost more than I have to (removed) away right now. Rims and tires got done with tax returns, but that is way past gone now, since the wife got 22's for our Ram and my old system installed in it. That and payed the rent for a couple of months to hold us over until I can get some overtime in so I can have more spending money! Can't pop a wheelie, maybe if it was RWD! No worries Sunny on the spoiler thing, it was coming regardless of who started it! Bigger brakes weren't an option with the old wheels, so I just got the drilled/slotted Brembos from Brian, but maybe when those donations start coming in I can order a big brake kit as well!

Man, I'd donate just to see it done and you happy. I know how hard it is to have a project so close to "finished" (in quotes because I know cars are never really finished) and not quite be able to get it there. At any rate, the wheels look really nice! Definitely a nice match and a good size for the style of your Vibe.

Yeah, I gotta think that must suck to not be able to finish it! Paintin' stuff isn't all that cheap here, I can only imagine how much it runs on the westside! But damron, once you get that all painted up, I think it would look pretty snazzy! I don't envy you when it comes time to replace the tires though, $$$cha ching$$$ For all your car has been through, it really isn't in that bad of shape, I suppose. lol!

Good choice on those Konig's. Now paint that back bumper immediately! It matches the house in the background.
