Automatic vs. Stick Shift

Post by jake75 »

Just wondered how many stick shifts are being sold compared to AT. I am too old and lazy to be bothered with shifting gears and handling a clutch but maybe the demographics on the Vibe are such that there are a good % being sold with stick shift.

you could always edit your post and take a poll of gen vibe users, that might give you an estimated ratio.

That thread may not be that accurate since there are a lot of enthusiast that prefer manuals on this forum. From what i've seen, I only seen one other GT and the rest have been base model. The base models that I've seen in parking lots have been all autos. Also, all AWD Vibes are purely auto so tha factors in as well. I would guess that like most family type cars, autos are the norm.

I have maybe seen 2 or 3 GT's and 2 AWD's since June of 2002. I would have to say I have seen a total of 50 Vibe's on the road in about a year.quote:I would guess that like most family type cars, autos are the norm.Yep, as it seems to be the norm here as well.
