GenVibe 5th Anniversary...how to celebrate?

Post by ZubenElGenubi »

April 1, 2007 will be GenVibe's 5th Anniversary! Any ideas on how we should celebrate? Nick mentioned some updates by the end of the month; hopefully that will include a new banner on the homepage. Maybe some giveaways or a raffle or...something. I'm always good for cake!

The BEST way to show your Genvibe pride is on the 1st, pack up your vibe and your family and friends, and head to Orlando Florida for the April 7th Meet, where we can have prizes and raffles and giveaways.

I pushed hard for gv=2 to set up a time to break the most concurrent online member count, but turnout was disappointing at 32. Best i have ever seen was so really, it shouldn't be that hard to beat, but it would require some token effort of the membership, whch unfortunately can not be assumed.for another birthday, i set up a thing to giveaway a center (under armrest) 12V outlet and wire, and whoever it was that won it stopped posting the day after they got the thing from me, so I won't curse any one else with a giveaway.sorry, but I am not going to drive down to Florida for the meet.

stupid as it sounds, everyone who has access to a camera should take a picture of themself with their car (even active members who have since moved on to other cars) and post it up in a 5th anniversary thread. that way, everyone sees where everyone is these days, even if it's not with their vibe anymore...

I like that idea.
