Highway Patrol troopers, Michelle Miles, 36, of Anderson pulled her 2004 Pontiac Vibe SUV into a parking place in front of the convenience store attached to the bus terminal. Troopers said that Miles got out of the SUV, and the vehicle kept going, hitting two women who were waiting for a bus before it crashed into the building.About five people were in the building at the time. The station is located at 3901 Liberty Highway across from Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Anderson.Arthur Payne who witnessed the wreck said, "I heard a loud crash, turned and saw the car and everybody was just hysterical."The two injured women were Hazel Skelton, 68, and Cheryl Beck, 49, both of Anderson. There was no word as to the condition of the women. It took paramedics a half hour to free the woman who was pinned under the car, but it was not immediately clear which of the women had been pinned.The new station opened in January and includes an airport shuttle and limousine service and a food bar.Since the station is located on a state highway, the S.C. Highway Patrol is investigating.
