Turn signal / head light dimmer switch replacement

Post by omegabrian »

I need to replace the turn signal / head light dimmer switch in my 2005 Vibe. I've tracked down an Acdelco part number - D6253C. For the life of me, I can't find anyone who sells it.I tried Auto Zone, they said they can't even get. I tried O'Reilly's, they said they'd look it up and call me back, but they never called back.Does anyone know of a store, online or otherwise, where I could buy this part? Thanks.

Conditions eh? LOLIt was a combination of my having a bad day and a construction worker paving a road that was a detour to begin with who wouldn't let me turn where I wanted. I got Irritated that he was blatantly ignoring my turn signal I sorta ripped the turn signal wand out of my steering column. Yeah, real mature, right?I tried to piece it back together, but there's too much broken plastic.I'll let you know how it worked out.

Any chance it could be covered under warranty?
