well im taking off my CAI. wanna know the reason??........................well...... i got water in the engine again. i will post more later but now im going to go weep in a corner of my room then got to bed and get up and find a ride to work.
WHAT???? AGAIN????? Okay, you need to get one of those intake snorkles that are found on some Range Rovers that come up and end at the top of your windshield. Seriously!

why are you driving through pools when you know you have a CAI?? especially when you've done it once before. that's like running your engine without oil, blowing your motor and then doing it again.
damn nascar!!!! sorry to hear that! twice?!?!?!?! maybe time for a short ram. or, like BC said, get a nice snorkle that goes up the windshield to the roofhope it all works out

yea i went deep sea fishing this time lol, but i did everything im suposed to i just cant finish right now until wed. but all four pistons move and have squirted water. i have one question though, for those who change their own oil what size is the original GM oil filter? i need to get the proper wrench for that, i have the right one for the K&N filter.i will let you all know what i decide to do with my CAI.
Quote, originally posted by NascarXprt » i need to get the proper wrench for that, I'm not sure the exact size but I can tell you it's probly one of the smallest sizes. I picked up a filter wrench from Wal-Mart and ended up just using my hand
AUGHH! I was just thinking about your previous episode this morning. I've gone out of my way to avoid high water ever since your first encounter. Sounds like a switch to a short ram may be in order if you can't find alternate routes during heavy rain.I'm guessing that you didn't see this coming, consider the late hour of your post. Did it happen at night?
yea i though it was a stream of water going down hill i forgot that there is some construction stuff in front of the drains in my neighborhood and yea it happened around right after i posted this.
im working on it now. i know it sounds bad but i know for sure i did not do anyharm to it and it should start right back up once i get that darn oil filter off.and i got another ? how do you remove the fog lights i have a craked right front and its getting water and condecation build up init.

Sorry to hear about this.Ya know, I thought I saw an AEM bypass valve somewhere, you could cut a chunck out of your CAI after the battery and put one of those in. A friend of mine did that with his Tibby.Good luck and I hope everything works out for ya. as far as a filter wrench, I just use one of the Plier style. It rips up the filter a bit, but your not reusing it anyway. I got it from autozone.
