Goodyear Tire Center Ad with coupon - $39.95 (Reg 69.95) -includes " . . . filter, clean and rejuvenate antifreeze. Add up to 2 gallons of antifreeze".What's that all about? I think I'd just tell them to forget about the filter, clean rejuvenate - just add the 2 gallons of antifreeze.

Rejuvenate antifreeze?? Nonsense. One should just replace it with the fresh.

what cooling system has a filter?? what am I missing?

The Vibe doesn't have a coolant filter. It sounds like they filter the old coolant and "rejuvenate" it, what ever that means. Look for a place that flushes and refills the cooling system. Also see if you can get them to replace the thermostat also - cheap insurance.BTW heavy equipment and class 8 trucks have coolant filters.
