Quote, originally posted by drunkenmaxx »very nice! tell me more!I did save some money, by not loading it up with every option. It runs 2 different size tires front to backOut front true HID Lighting and Led's out back.Leather, Bose stereo with 6 disk in dash, 2 Tv's in back with dvd and video game inputs. It has memory control which auto adjust the following, mirrors, stereo including presets and DIC options, power pedals and dual power seats and there heated, digital climate control for both sides...Traction control, stabilty control which keeps it moving straight during slides. Countless air bags. LOLBoth front windows have express up and down.heated outside mirrors, rear window and rear side windows.Dual exhuast. magnetic ride control. I know I am forgetting so much.I didnt get the hugh moon roof or the navigation system, I choose the AWD instead, I just couldnt afford everything.I got the 260hp v6 which is surprisingly strong and seems very quick.instead of the v85 speed automatic with a bump shift shifter, if you want the feel of driving a stick.stickered at 44k.This thing is pure classthe reviews I read before buying compared it to a BMW x5 and some type of mercedes.but being It is american built it came in 3rd, thanks to the Anti american writer. Scott, the SRX looks and sounds great from the features! Driving the truck/plow in the snow looks like fun too. I haven't been on here much over the past year or so, but it looks like some of us that have been here for a while are upgrading from the Vibe. I'm still really enjoying my Vibe, so I plan to keep it for a few more years. It is tempting though at times with all these nice new models out these days.
Justin 2003 Vibe GT - Mille Miglia Evo5 18x8 Wheels (now stock)- Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust (now stock)- Tein S-Tech Springs (now stock)- Injen CAI - Red Painted Calipers - Hella Supertone Horns - Polk Speakers - Bazooka RS8A-HP Sub - Kenwood Headunit - Still love my Vibe, but I've just turned it back into a basic daily driver.
justin,I was just getting so upset with my vibe after the clutch issue. replaced the clutch, Then tranny just blew apart sending gear oil everwhere.I bought a new transmission, then the wheel well blew out of the car driving down the highway. That was the last straw. So I traded it in on my truck.Which is a real work horse and its been making some decent money for me this winter and lots of play time in it.But gas mileage really bites in it.I was thinking how much I missed the vibe when it was running good and not falling apart. So I did a lot of car shopping, then I seen a SRX and thought it was cool but way out of my price range. After GMS it really wasnt as bad as I thought it was!Of course 2 payments arent fun either. but the truck actully makes more money then it cost, so I was able to swing both of them. The SRX gets really fun when you turn off the Traction control and the Stabilty track.Putting into a corner hard and punching it is just so much fun.Goodthing I got the 6 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.(removed)!!!
The logic is what makes me ROFL right now. But I am reading it quick...general "My Vibe is such a POS I'm tired of it...I think I'll go buy a Caddy."lol, tears are rolling off my eyes. Such an extreme, econo hatch to luxury crossover. Your the guy who pulls into the Lexus dealer in his 92 Corolla and drives off in a GS400. Love it!

But though my LGT wasn't $44K, it's $35K pricetag was a bit more than my $20K VGT w/ busted front bumper and riced out wing. LOL my folks just traded in their old truck for a Caddy STS something or other... giving my mother 350 hp V8 is just a very bad idea.

LOL POS!but my car sorta runs on pump gas. i have the maps set for 90 octane, but i'll probably have it remapped for 93. there is a huge power difference and the car just responds better. what do you have to pu in your tank? 90 or 93?
