I was thinking of getting a set for mine. I had a pair on my 90 Civic and really liked them. They are great for smokers (quit +/- 1 month ago) because you can keep the window down a little even in the rain for ventilation and not get wet!!!

I have the original packaging down at Mom and Dad's place, but I've got the invoice here where I ordered them. If the numbers I'm about to give you aren't correct, I can check the box they came in to see if there is any info there you may need.Part 12498261 / Group (not sure what that is, but it's here if you need it) 9694. The set ran me $79.80 plus tax. The parts guy didn't give me a break there, that's for sure. It took me a while to get mine in as well. I stopped by the dealership on a Saturday, was a few minutes too late - the parts department had closed up shop. Talked to the salesman who sold me the car, he said he would have them ordered the following Monday. A couple of weeks passed, no word from the dealer. Called them and got "We'll call you when they come in."I went to the dealership a couple of weeks later, and still no sign of them. He looked it up in their system, they weren't even ordered yet! Come to find out, my salesman abruptly quit the week following the original order, so I doubt submitting my order was really one of his things to get accomplished before leaving. So, I ordered them again on March 8, and they arrived on the 24th. Odd that it took that long, since my splash guards arrived within 5 days.In the end, the wait was well worth it.

Hmm, my dealer had the splash guards in stock. I bought them the day I took delivery of my Vibe. But then again, they are a huge dealership. They claim to be the biggest GM dealer in North America.

More often than not, the GM dealers around here have to order parts for just about anything. It seems like nobody stocks anything anymore. When they do need a part and no other local dealers have it, usually it comes out of GM's warehouse around Cincinnati and gets to them the next day. I had to wait three days to get a fuel pump for my old Malibu - it was ordered on the first day, arrived on the second but the sending unit built into the pump was bad, so yet another day to get another one down here that worked. A lot of stuff that could be considered non-essential (like accessories) usually takes significantly longer. The splash guards came from Cincinnati, so they were here in a few days. The ventshades - it appears as if they were shipped from British Columbia, found their way to Washington, and finally on to the dealer. That's probably why they took so long to get here.... So, anyone who wants a set, but the dealership has to order them, there may be a long wait to get 'em to ya.Yep, Stang, you're pretty lucky.
