grease her up

Post by coratz »

hey guys guys/ all you guys with hard to close hatch problems? the problem can be solved with generous amounts of lithium grease. the spots to grease of the hinges, striker and the striker assembley. you can also do the same thing to the glass part of the hatch. MAJOR improvement. you can close them with your pinky(for rear). for the doors i would grease up the round top hinge on the inside of each door. then spray wd40 on the lowe hinges to keep the running smooth.anonther point is to pop the hood and grease up the entire hood latch assembly for i did notice a large amount of rust from the winter on it.

I agree with what you said. My hatch improved a lot after I greased it up a bit and worked it a few times. Problem not solved, but improved.

Rust Check is an excellent product. Krown rustproofing is an equally impressive product. The only type of rust prevention any car owner should ever use.
