There was a tiny public beach on Loon Lake by Fenton, Michigan back in the '40's and '50's when I lived there. One time when the beach was crowded, which only took about fifteen, a family decided to paint its station-wagon. They got out this can of ugly green paint and a brush and took turns painting it on the spot. Maybe painting cars with a brush was common back then, 'cause nobody paid them much attention. How about some more weird car stories? For that matter, true weird stories of any kind are always interesting.
