ColonelPanic is March 2007 GenVibe Member of the Month (MotM)

Post by joatmon »

ColonelPanic is March 2007 GenVibe Member of the Month (MotM)Congratulations James! The Colonel received many MotM nominations:Quote, originally posted by "11/3/2005" »Through all of the problems he has had with his car, he has still helped out the community because now we are aware of potential problems that could happen with any of our cars, and even how to fix some of them -- valuable contributions to the site.Quote, originally posted by "11/11/2005" »CP appears to have somehow gotten the escaped Worst Case Test Vibe. Despite this, his very active presence on the forum contributes to the Genvibe experience in a definite positive manner. Always willing to share information & humor.Quote, originally posted by "11/14/2005" »This poor guy needs a break, his Vibe hates him, or else he has some REALLY bad karmic debt to pay....... He hates the Vibe, but loves the family here; so I'm gonna Nominate him.Quote, originally posted by "12/13/2005" »Continuing to be a great contributing member of the site, despite all the problems he's had with his Vibe. While he doesn't frequently post a great deal of mod / maintenance info (other than "another thing that could possibly go wrong with your Vibe") his postings of humor, items of interest, and general participation make the forums a great place to hang out online.Quote, originally posted by "1/26/2006" »This member has had the worst luck with his vibe but yet still has it and is there to help any member that has a problem which he might or might not of had on his vibeQuote, originally posted by "4/3/2006" »I would like to nominate James ColonelPanic. This is the least we can do for his problematic Vibe!! The Toolguy... Quote, originally posted by "5/20/2006" »For finally getting rid of his Vibe, and getting his lusted over Hyundai! Quote, originally posted by 11/20/2006" »Eventhough His Vibe is welcomely departed, he has done so much for the forum and other members and dosent disurage new members from all the problems he has faced. He also is quick to offer any postitve advice he can. He continues to be a vital part of our Genvibe Family. Good Luck! Quote, originally posted by "1/4/2007" »His photos and graphics are great, and so is his sense of humor! His posts always are a riot. He is on top of all the current events, and of course, is one half of the happy famous GenVibe couple. Quote, originally posted by "1/21/2007" »He contributes so much to the genvibe family. everything he has to say, even his pictures, avatars are very cool. He's a great guy and oh yeah...a dog person! Quote, originally posted by "1/22/2007" »Computer whiz, great guy, and he can talk like Snoop!Quote, originally posted by "1/22/2007" »great pics and very very helpful to the vibe community Quote, originally posted by "1/22/2007" »Awesome person engaged to another awesome Vibe person and he is very nice and has great graphics. Quote, originally posted by "2/19/2007" »He's the comedian of GenVibe! ColonelPanic has been an active member here consistently for over four years, is currently number seven on the all time post count, (which takes a lot of being active) He seems to have had the most problematic Vibe, always seemed to be having one problem after another. If you haven't run across ColonelPanic at genvibe, then this must be the first thread you've read here. http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=25677 is a good intro.James, you're always posting up to answer people's questions, Vibe and otherwise, and your open friendliness and willingness to help others is the kind of stuff that makes genivbe such a great place. 11/20.06 pegged it with "He continues to be a vital part of our Genvibe Family." Congratulations on being Member of the Month, and thanks for being a genviber -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=This month there three new nominations, two for millster, one for ColonelPanic. Carry overs from December and January nominations also put AKLGT, jimincalif, and johostle in the running for this month's contest. Since AKLGT and johostle were last nominated in December, they no longer carry over (unless renominated), but jimincalif and millster do carry over and are automatically entered into the running for the April MotM. All of these nominees deserve to win, so to all who were nominated but didn't win, thanks for all you do to make this a great place This month ColonelPanic becomes the sixteenth GenVibe Member of the Month. Aww, thanks guys! What a great surprise! I really appreciate the nominations, folks! I'm glad I can bring at least a couple good qualities to the site. Thanks for your kind words, and you all are great yourself! I've always felt at home here, still do - the wonderful group of folks we have here make this site quite special. You just can't find great people like we have here elsewhere on the 'net. Thanks again for the nominations, and thanks to each and every one of you for making the site great!

Congrats, James. Now that you've achieved the GenVibe equivalent of the Oscar, maybe you can do a screenplay about the Vibe from Hell, and sell it to Time Warner (or maybe Endemol/CBS as a reality show) and become a billionaire!

Congratulations, CP! While you definitely suffered the worst luck with this car, your experiences have been valuable for the rest of us. Every little squeak or rattle reminds me that you got it first and probably worse! While I often feel you're our "devil's advocate" for the Vibe, your feedback is still very relevant. Keep up the good work!
