Burning rich since Cosmo intake?

Post by shane_c »

Since I've installed my cosmo I've noticed that when I'm cleaning the snow off the back of the car that the exhaust smell is much more noticeable than before. Anyone else notice this?

No, it's as soon as I start it and am cleaning the snow off it. I'll check sometime once the car is warmed up and see if it still smells back there.

That's normal. Your car will run rich until it warms up to operating temps. That's why there's 2 cats. First one is for cold starts.Don't worry about it.
