installation of racing harness'

Post by street roamer »

I don't want to have to buy a harness bar so i was wondering if it is possible to buy an extra long harness and bolt it to the floor behind the seat(four point harness)hit me back at streetcars@shaw.ca

I wouldn'd advise doing that unless you want to crush your spine in an accident. The shoulder harness needs to be mounted level or a few degrees above your shoulders.

its not the safefest way to do it but ive seen it done plenty times. most people use the rear 2 seat bolts. im pretty sure most harnessess come long enough to reach and you adjust if shorter it your using a bar
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!

i have a 3 pt harness that bolts to the rear 2 bolts of the front seat and the bolt in the rear seat. there are a lot of racing harness styles, but it just depends on what or why you want them. I use mine for autocross, so i don't wear it everyday for driving. i tried for awhile, but then it held me in too tight, i couldn't move around! LOL. so now i only use it for when I'm racing.
