http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,253258,00.htmlNo offence, but VA just keeps confirming how odd of a state it is. The cops are **** and a jury thought this woman should get 2 years in prison???? She has a husband in Iraq and kids. If anything the person who cut her off should get something too seeming as they endangered children by cutting her off.If that was me, I would have absolutely felt the need to throw a cup of ice. I'm not an angry person, just don't (removed) me off. And people who cut you off blatantly are the worst. Especially when there is plenty of room behind you. If it looks close, don't go.Another note is that everything from 10 minute lights to "Not blocking the box" signs at intersection is nuts as well. Everytime I drove down there I felt I got dumber, going through Maryland even I drove 80-90 in the far RIGHT lane because people got into the far left (with like 5-6 lanes total) and did the speed limit of 65? I always figured the left was for passing, not on 95 in Maryland its not, stay right and pass.I guess I'm just used to New England roads where they twist, turn, have blind corners, and there is like 5-10 ways to get somewhere between using highways, back roads, or both. The more modern places that are south and west are all grids, except for neighborhood or developments. Grids are just annoyances where you wait to turn, wait to go. Ever seen a Parkway with stop lights, lol, Fairfax County Parkway does. They even have exits, but yet there are stop lights and intersections??? Never seen it before, almost killed me do when I was doing 70, came around a bend and everyone was dead stopped because of a light, on a highway?Sorry again, not here to offend VA people, but man I feel like I'm on a different planet when I drive outside of the NE.
