Alright, Let me just say the meet was awesome! And to those of you who didn't come... where were you, we missed you...As of right now, I'm still in St. Augustine, I have a video in the making last night, but Windows Movie Maker crapped out on me, so I went to bed. I'll get some pics and vids up when I get home, cause I'm about ready to leave. Any members who were there, post up your stories/pics!

Viva la Pontiac! 2009 Jet Black GT
Well the weather was cool, low 60s but sunny and clear. Some reported getting stealth sunburns. Kinda of sweater weather, but very pleasant.Even though there were a couple of no-shows, those who came were all ages and were really "into" their cars. They traveled from all over Florida ranging from the east to west coast and very north and south; and one even came all the way from Arkansas. We ended up with 5 Vibes and 5 Matrix. Some cars were fairly stock, some were modded but very subtle, and others were really tricked out. It was a good variety of rides. Everyone showed off the features of their car, and there were a lot of neat things done that would not have been obvious without the "story".Three different mods were performed on various cars; throttle body bypass, interior LEDs, and DRL switch. Very knowledgable volunteers did the work for free, and all were happy with the changes. Some interested shoppers came by to see what was up, and we handed out some GV and MO fliers.Near the end we went on a 15 mile Road Rally through the country side, with "hot spots" drivers were asked to identify along the way. The course included gentle curves, a couple of radical S-curves, and some straight aways to air it out. Except for a crazed soccer mom in an "evil SUV" and a tow truck with a NASCAR wanna-be guy who had to pass us all it was a fun trip.We ended the day at Ruby Tuesdays for dinner with some great conversation and presentation of awards. The "Best" cars received a small "cup" trophy enscribed with the Meet location and date. Best Matrix went to HaZzArD, Best Vibe to VforVibe and overall Best of Show went to Pancho's Matrix.Everyone had a great time and it was nice to meet those we talk to on the boards. The cars were awesome and all agreed we should do it again.

what, not even a single shot of the matrix tribe or did you crop us out? well yesterday was definitely fun, and im glad we could all get together, we definitely need to do it again...maybe old town or something as for stories...which some may or may not know-I got 4 hours of sleep and woke up at 8 in the morning and finally got home at like 2 This morning...haha, like i said, i called a friend up I was supposed to go out with tonight just to say hey and she said she was going to a rock show in downtown orlando, so i figured i'd go....so i just got off at Rt 50 and went to a show -I got pulled over before i was 5 miles away from my house for tint, my drop, my blacked out taillights, and my slightly smoked liscence plate cover....he also thought i had NOS cause of the saftey switch i use for the strobes in my car...if he had actually written me a ticket he said he would have made it out for like $75 for each offense, so to my math, that's like a $825 ticket, considering he would have nailed me by the window, haha-Haha, The cold threw me off and i had like NO capacity to hold liquid....i think i had to have used the bathroom like 15-20 times yesterday....and the ruby tuesday giving like neverending free refills definitely didnt help....It was funny because of the MO'ers that left, I left first, and kinda got a head start and i was kinda flyin out a bit i guess....I stopped to use the bathroom, got back on I-95 and did like 95 to make up for time, and I actually saw (and passed) Felix (hazzard). I had to go again at another like 30 miles and I stopped in to buy a red bull, and once again got out to I-95....and Proceded to pass Felix again, LoL-I still have no idea where anything on the scavenger hunt was....I was trying not to slam into anyone since Kelly cant lead a rally -I lost a bunch of coolant when we did the bypass mod, but i didnt have any problems on the ride home....I need to get my car into the shop at school and i need to do a flush and fill.-I still have Silvrhawk7's magnetic pickup tool in my pocket from the dropping of the bypass coupler...mostly because i wanted to get that stuff on quick since i was loosing fluid....if ya want, i can mail it to ya, Hawk -Speaking of forgetting stuff, I forgot to get my packet, anyone pick it up? I want it for my like wall of stuff, but I got on I-95 10 miles down before i realized i didnt have itWell, i think that's it for now; im off to clean up the garage :DSomone get me some Muffler Bearings, Turn Signal Fluid, A flux capacitor, and the Dough repair kit

I really regret not being able to make this meet. I live less than 100 miles from St Augustine, and tried my best to make it happen, up until the last minute. Alas, things just didn't work out. Many thanks to VivaVibe for the invitation. and please don't count me out for next time! Looks as though you guys had a good time, and it would have been so great to meet other owners of my new favorite car. Maybe by next time I'll have a couple of minor mods done (nothing elaborate planned), and my Vibe wouldn't be the "plain Jane" of the meet.

^haha, you wouldnt have been the plainest there^It was funny to roll with the Matrixes, cause the 3 of us that were really sticking around are all dropped by at least two inches, and all the vibes there were at stock dune-buggy height Some of us were more extravagant than others, but i think that this gives some motivation to work on thier cars since it was a few people's first meet and all...I want to see you Vibers doing some stuff, surely you cant let us Matrixes take best of show two meets in a row, haha

I have your packet Chris. I'll mail it to you (minus the candy ) if you send me your postal address to david@landscapesartstudio.comKelly and others took lots of pix, so they should be up after they get home and settled. You're lucky you didn't get slammed for all the "equipment violations". I also got a ticket for illegal tint, (and my officer wouldn't even consider a warning). But that happened just before the Meet which is why half my tint was removed. Lucky for me the dealer agreed to make it up in free gas since they sold me a car that was illegal to drive. It was great to have you and your awesome ride at the Meet.

Oh believe me, she's an ultra-plain '06 base model. Aside from the added crossbars and the old style console armrest, she's as plain as they come. But I still love her!

As I said in the other thread. IM up for a central FL meet. Orlando, Tampa, anything around here really. I wanted to drive up to st augustine, its jsut the parents didnt like the idea. lol. But now that I did the Orlando Celica meet, wut a mistake. lol. They will more than likely not mind so much for the next meets.Orlando was a lot of fun for us, all kinds of stores and restaurants. Plenty of great places to meet. Anyways count me in for next meet. Good vid V. looks great!

I wouldn't say I started anything, but thanks for the credit. I more of lit the fire under you guys and got you planning. Relly V put it toegther, got the place, set the times, and did all the planning.... I just "planted the idea seed" in her head. I know my life to much to make set plans, things always come up that stop me from being able to do things. But I am going to make sure that I will be at this next meet, I don't care what it takes.
