had my cel come on the other day....dealer scanned it and said it had a missfire on all cylinders,,,,they replaced the spark plugs,,,,,i did notice the missfires,it only happend on cold starts, once the car warmed up it ran fine,,,,,weird but it happened again,,,dealer said next step is to replace the ignition coils,,i highly doubt all coils are bad,,,im leaning towards the MAF sensor,,,what do u guys think??im thinking the MAF is dirty and screwing up my air/fuel ratio,,,,it does run a lot better since the new plugs,,,maybe it just needs some time???please help
Both times I had misfires, once on the Vibe and once on my truck, it was a clogged fuel injector to blame. That's where I'd be looking, especially after replacing the plugs. Fuel injectors can be cleaned ultrasonically for about $15.00 a piece and don't usually need to be replaced.
well if its a bad injector why did i get codes for all 4 cyclinders missfiring????4 clogged injectors???probably not,,,,still might get them done though
If it's under warranty get everything done until it works. Get them to give it a long test drive before they call you to pick it up so you don't have to keep going back.
