Front wheel well cover removal?

Post by jkm311 »

Between the front tires and the bumper, how do you remove or how is the panel secured that lines the wheel well just below the headlights? I don't seem to see any screw heads, so how is it attached? Any old threads on this? I seem to remember somebody exposing the CAI they ran down in that space, and posting the shots of it. Thanks, Vibers.

Do you mean the platic inner fender? If so, to remove it completly, you have the remve 2 screw who link it the the bumper, then the 5 push clips (4 in the fender, 1 under the car). After this, you have to remve the 2-3 screw on the edge of the fender, then remove the cladding. You have to pull hard since it is clipped.

Basically, I just need to get my arm in the space behind the headlight on the passenger side. Just screws in the way, if I am reading your post correctly...

To do this, remove the 2 screw and the push clip who link the bumper and the inner fender. It is also a good idea to remove the push clip who attatch the inner fender to the fender. After this you will be able to access this area.
