Hard to believe it's been so long since that job. I'm currently serving as a database admin/programmer/server admin/general technical support for the local school district. Quite a step up from what I was doing.

funny.. i thought i posted in this long time ago.. guess not. *shrug*I am currently running/operating/self employed my new business in communications: internet, phone, television as well as getting into performance car parts and accessories (mainly racing fuel, high end oils and lubricants, etc). it's a work in progress and i'm finalizing my contracts with Dobson Comm for wireless and mobile data services in AK.and there are 2 Subaru dealers (that I know of) in AK. Continental Subaru sells more volume vehicles than any other dealership in the Pacific Northwest. if you throw a pebble out the window, it'll hit one or 2 or more subies. they are everywhere here!

Guess I could update mine too.I work in the seasonal/outdoor power equipment/home organization department at lowe's. I have like no hours, even less money, and I can honestly say, while I don't hate my job, I don't love it either.

http://www.hewitt.comI am a BA (Benefits Analyst) but I do mainly finance work with clients payroll, 401K, Thrift Plans, Loans, etc. Balancing and handling of funds and client contact. I manage about 10 reps down in Orlando at our call center as well. Not a bad job, plenty of time on the computer, but that gives me more opportunity to spend time on genvibe and MO. I also managed about 3 people out in India who handle support for us as well.

I'm a mechanical engineer for the largest power and water utility in Phoenix Metro. I just accepted a new position within the company as an environmental compliance technology engineer, so when you hear about carbon emissions, SO2 emissions, mercury, etc...you can bet I'll be on the engineering team at my company to evaluate control technologies. I am pretty excited.

I make decent money, but certainly I don't make what might be considered "big" bucks...honestly, I'd do the job for less, but would really love to do it for more...
