I think I may be getting satellite radio for my birthday but am unsure.Show your pics of where you mounted yours. I am one of those neat frea people and want it to look clean so I will probably run wires behind the dash to keep them out of sight. Let me know what you did with yours. Like I said, I cannot stand having it on the window or protruding out somewhere with the wires going all over. I may just have to do something custom which I wouldnt mind either.
Here's my Sirius unit mounted in the console. Since I took the pic, I snaked the power under the console and added the outlet in the storage bin (something the 05s didn't get from the factory) to get power. Also, when I sell the Vibe, I can remove it with a minimum of effort.

Mods: 04 center armrest, 04 Matrix AM/FM/CD/Cassette, Electrochromatic rear view mirror w/compass, GM hood protector, Ventvisors on doors and moonroof, one-touch close moonroof. added 12v outlet in console, Goodyear TripleTred tires, Sirius satellite radio.
Both of those are clean. I think I like the left pocket idea a little bette because it is totally out of the way. I often use my tray and center hidden storage compartment (great place for my smokes)Did you have to custom mount these in any way and how hard is it to see in that left pocket area while driving?Anymore would be helpful as well!
It is pretty easy to see, trust me! I like the fact that I only can see it. Plus I need to find a use for the left side cubby lol.I used 3M tape to secure it (nice and clean, not messy at all) It has passed with flying colors the "Montreal road test"Let me know if you need more info

Mine is mounted in the center console, forward of the cupholders. We took out the little "carpet" thing in there and stuck it down directly to the plastic. It fits there rather well and is easy to get to but out of the way.
They all look clean, I am wondering if she did get me one if it would most likely be sirius. May be a conflict since the interior is all red at night. lol.

I have the Jensen (Audiovox) Jam Pack. There's a brand new one on eBay right now.http://cgi.ebay.com/SIRIUS-RAD...wItemThe red display matches perfectly, and the black/silver trim matches the console as well.
