any forward facing red lights are definitely illegal in texas unless you're in an official emergency vehicle (just in case you didn't want to click the links )

Sorry, but red headlights aren't going to be legal anywhere. Please don't install them if you have actually ran across these things. In just about every locality, if you're not an emergency vehicle, legally you are limited to white and amber lighting on the front of your vehicle.I highly doubt the light output will be sufficient enough to be able to see clearly - so you could easily end up hurting yourself or someone else on the road. Not worth it, IMHO.

I think it would look good and I'm not going to talk down to you like you're an idiot for asking like people but, no they aren't legal. I do like the idea though. I saw a Mustang with white tail lights...yeah that was weird looking but any idiot paying attention could tell it wasn't coming at them head on...and they weren't busted out either, they were clear.I'm not even going to state my opinion because I know it will lead to an off topic maturity/selfish arguement like many have in the past Get red bulbs for the turn signals. I see grand prixs aroud here all the time with green or red or blue turn signal bulbs. Then you can turn off your headlights at shows and the red will be there by itself....or even put in red bulbs for the fog lights and re-wire them so you can turn them on an off independantly.

ANY red light on the front of the vehicle - doesn't matter if it's headlights, fogs, turn signals, marker lights, decorative lights, neon tubes, washer nozzles, various led's etc. - will be illegal. If red is absolutely needed on the front of your vehicle, better buy a fire truck!

(removed)...what if someone on here bought one and tied a firetruck to teh front of the Vibe and pushed it around just because you said that? How crazy would that be.

Now that wouldn't be illegal. As long as you're going to a fire, then you can turn the lights on!
