Door check bolts coming loose.

Post by XRTIM »

I am just curious if anybody else has experienced this. I am talking about that horizontal piece of metal(door check) that keeps the door from swinging too far. The 10mm bolts connecting to the driver-side door were loose on my brother's vibe. http://s94687403.onlinehome.us...0.pdf

I just checked my door and they were real tight.Maybe throw some locktight on them or tighten them up real good.Maybe it was beer time at the NUMMI plant that day.
