The Throttle body spacers that others have successfully installed are NOT available for 2005 and above with Drive by Wire electronics because the spacer is slightly different.I contacted the manufacturer and they are interested in making a Spacer for us, but need to have a vehicle to do measurements. They are located in:Little Rock, Arkansas in the northern part of the City.If they get a measurement, they will produce the units. There is a market for Corollas , Matrix and Vibes.Does anyone live in Little Rock that would be willing to be the "model" car for making a Spacer? If so, contact info is below.ThanksThere is no affiliation, I would like to purchase one of the units.http://www.streetandperformanc...p.htm(501) 945 0354 M-F 8-5 CSTcall Jason Crawley
When you put the throttle body spacer, you would install it in between the intake manifold andyou intake and once the air hits that certain spot it spirals it to get better air flow into your engine and so on..... to make things shot its for better air flow
I drove to Little Rock from San Antonio to meet with the helix members. I have an 2006 Vibe. no one had a throttle body spacer. Helix made one for me and boy does it work. I have a cosmo cold air intake which we did NOT have to cut. I got 5mpg better millage on the trip home. The cruise controll shifted a lot less, more power. I am thriled with this unit and Helix CO.George Bender
I've been lurking at your threads blue, and also found I can get it for $76 w/ free shipping from hubcapsplus.com with the coupon code SSMTX0506. Not a bad deal. I want to get my intake on first, then go for this as the next mod. Thanks again!
FYI-Adding the TB spacer will require you to shorten(cut) your CAI by 1". If you have a Short Ram - make sure you have at least 1"+ of space between your cone filter and the fuse box. Otherwise you will need to cut that also.

I figured that, no big deal there, after owning a 1994 Saturn I am used to making things work and be clean! The 94 Saturn SOHC didnt even have an intake made for it. I had to buy one for a DOHC, then get a spacer from an older Cavalier, some exhaust piping and rubber connectors to make it work out, very clean looking too.
haha could i get a free one for being the "test subject"I'm about 2.5 hrs from Little Rock EDIT: whoops I just read that oldgizer allready did that. So does that mean they sell them now for DBW?
