Driving home from work today I make a left turn following traffic, and right away there is white, wet, goop all over the road and being sprayed onto my beautiful Vibe. Being I've only had it less than a month, it was very disturbing. As soon as I get home, I go to hosing it down. But, the white goop doesn't want to come off. I turn the hose to hard jet spray and it slowly starts coming off. Had to wash and wipe it three times while continually changing rags. It was especially sticking to the lower panels, wheel-wells, tires and alloys. Also, layed on the ground and sprayed the undercarriage. Finally I hosed down the whole car again with clean water and towel dried it.I'm thinking it may have been drywall dust mixed with water when they tried to hose it off the street. But, since it was rush-hour they couldn't get it all. I finished just before dark. Man I'm glad it wasn't freezing outside, or it would have been alot worse. You really have to be careful out there folks!

Know your pain. Back in '71 I hit a brand new backtopped road. Stuck on it for a mile. I was sick. Took off from my part time job to try and get that instant undercoating off my Mustang. I was crying real tears. I smile today when working on the underside of the old 65 and still find some of that blacktop. Just know, you are not alone.
yeah i hate when stuff like that happens. i was drivin on the freeway one day, and some commercial truck was drivin in front of me droppin some white stuff all over the ground and the front of my car. i didn't have mine for long either and was ready to kill the driver, but i jus let lift kick in n passed as quick as i could. it took me a lil extra work to get the crap off my paint too.well that makes 3 of us, who else wants to share a lil story??
