There will be no rebates as long as the cars are moving, the dealers are selling all they are allotted, and the factory is building all they can. Until there are rows of Vibes sitting on dealer's lots, there will be no rebates. When that will be is anyone's guess. It will take a year or so before the car is no longer "hot" by then they might beef up the AWD to accept the GT engine, offer a supercharger and an automatic GT which will make the car more appealling to even more people. If you want the car get one. Cheers Ken.

They put rebates out to clear out the past model year. So you currently get rebates on 2002 models. Since is the vibe is a 2003 you wont see a rebate till the end of model year (this time next year) assuming that there is some surplus inventory that has to move.
I managed to get a rebate of $1000 on my Vibe because I am a recent university graduate. If you graduate from a 3 or 4 year college or university program you are eligibe for the discount up to a year after you graduate. The only other way to get a discount is to get the GM credit card. But you have to charge thousands of dollars to the card before you get a decent rebate.Or you could buy a crappy-(removed) sunfire!

Okay, how did you (Soulfly69) manage to get a rebate of a 1000 bucks for graduating. I'm using the same plan, and am only getting $400 bucks. What gives?
I also got $1000 rebate on my Cavalier 3 years ago. Funny... to qualify for the $1000 rebate for this year it says that you have to have graduated between now and May 1 1999 I believe... well I qualify again I guess because I graduated in '99! Wonder if they'll let me do it twice?
