Just bought a 2004 Vibe after having several other Pontiacs, all with the 3800 engine. I was a little skeptical about switching, but I heard a lot of great things about the Vibes. 'm loving it so far. I bought it with a little rear end damage, and it's just getting fixed now... I'll post some pics soon. Question; what's the best way to find original alloy wheels for this model? ebay has nothing, and any place I've tried can't find a set anywhere... Any idea how much I might expect to pay for them? Look forward to meeting all you Vibe-ers...Gerry
Welcome to Genvibe!!! ebay will be your best bet. You just have to be patient and some should pop up eventually. You could order them from the dealer but it will cost you Check the for-sale section, too. Someone is usually selling some every now and then.Pics are very welcome here What kind of options does it have & are you planning any mods?
Thanks... I'll watch for the alloys, but would love to find some nearby...My Vibe is mod free, and not planning anything major... maybe some window tints, some improved speakers, and alloys, but that's all, I think... Mine's automatic, with power group, dark blue with gray skirting and bumper covers. I also have a Grand Prix GT, same blue color, and I love the look of the Pontiacs, with their wide wheel base, and great lines... I think I'll really like my Vibe... anyone want a nice Grand Prix GT??
thanks for the welcome... and I'm a Montrealer, too... born and raised in NDG, been in Nova Scotia since '94, but always get back to Montreal several times a year... look forward to chatting again...
welcome to the land of the vibes, gerry. we're glad that you've found your way home
