MODS

Post by keithvibe »

Being I had some spare time today I installed LEDs in my cup holders and on the front storage tray. Tomorrow if the weather holds out I will see if I can tackle glove box leds and leds for the left hand compartment next to the steering wheel.I wired the lights to a switch in the center arm rest.Switch:Lights:puts a nice little red glow on the ceiling

But, when I get done adding in all the leds I want to put into the car it should be able to show up outside the car

That looks great!! I allways wanted to put LEDs in the cup holders. Also saw someone on here put them under the radio and they lit up the vent controls and left a nice spotlight affect on the shifter...good work! let me know where you go the LEDs and al the info. on them I would like to do that also.

I can take a photo of the set I got and post it if you like being I still have a pack left to put in to the car else were. The three pack was about 7bucks and the switch i got from wal-mart for 4bucks but you can get the same switch at any automotive store for about the same price.I didn't take any photos of how I wired it but If your interested in how I did it PM me and I can explain it to you.Edit: Photo of the LEDs

Oh ok. They have those here. I didn't know if they would be bright enough or not but they look like it. I was going to buy a "lot" of LEDs off ebay or something and buy separate resistors and all that garbage...forget that if the packs work good lol.
