I have a base model '03 Vibe w/o auto door locks. Was there an option for an electric liftglass release? I had a '92 Suburban at 1 time that had something like this.
As raging said, part of the package. On the Vibe your options were power and no power, no in-between. If you want an electric release for your hatch glass, you're going to have to add the solenoid yourself (or have it installed, but aftermarket, not factory)

Quote, originally posted by NascarXprt »would that be the same for the doors, hatch, and windows? As far as what it would take? The hatch glass / hatch should only need solenoids. The windows would probably need a conversion kit (which they sell aftermarket), the doorlocks however you would need to pay a lot for, because the Vibe, like most Toyota designs, have cable based door locks, which are not easy to deal with.

I did the power lock install on my vibe.I cheaped out and didn't order power locks when I bought the vibe. They have a kit for the cable type actuated systems like ours that are relativley cheap,I think I paid $130 for the whole kit.It was easy to install, took about 4 hours to run all the wires to all 4 doors.I'm not sure about the glass release but I would check this place out,if anyone would have it they would. But,you would have to install a kit to control the glass release,so I think it would be better to install a door lock kit while your at it.http://www.a1electric.com/index.htm
