Ever Sit on a Rake?

Post by JohnC »

My wife tripped and fell backwards landing on the up turned rake she left on the ground. She is okay, and in a week or two this will be funny.

Ouch!! When was her last tetanus shot!Lesson: never leave pointy things sticking up.I think we've all done the stupid "I should have known better" or the "I should have been more careful." I ripped my middle finger in half while working on some ducting at home and all I could say at the hospital with my artery sliced open was "what a dumb (removed) I am. I know better to wear gloves. What the heck was a thinking!!" over and over.Hope she is OK/Andrew

Nope, but I stepped on one once. Rake was in tall grass in my friend's yard and I didn't know it was there. Dang near knocked me out! Once my friend stopped laughing, he got me some ice.

If you moved to MN, you wouldn't have to worry about having a rake around in January...

you could start a fashion trend with those jeans...about 2 minutes in to helping our friends with a home renovation project, i managed to step on a big ol nail. it went in a good inch or so. didn't really hurt but i dropped a lot of F-bombs.
