I am planning on lowering the vibe. What I need to know is would I be better of with Tein H or Eiback pro kit springs ? Next is it worth the money to replace the stock shocks and struts with new KYB's ? I only have 50,000 miles on the car with no tire wear or any bouncing issues. What I want to get out of the car is improved handing but more importantly is ride quality. I will be going with the progress rear sway bar as well. Thanks Dominic

well its probably a good thing to replace the strut/shock as well because now your keeping it really compressed. I'm at almost 40,000km though on lowered TEIN S with stock shocks though and no issues. Handling and ride quality are great. If your leaving your stock 16" wheels on the car then you won't notice much of a bounce or rough ride.

I had like almost 40k miles when i installed my Hotchkis springs. Man after it settled it looks super nice. It is a little bouncy but it handles so much better. Some people have almost 100k miles before they had to replace the struts, if you have the money replace them or if you have lots of money get a coil over set
Thanks for the info. guys. I talked to my mechanic today and he said that the OEM struts were more than likely hybrolic. He said that is why most car drive so smooth on OEM suspension. So if the GR-2 KYB's are gas charged they will work better then the KYB's that are on the car. If any on knows if this is true then I will be up grading the struts and shocks.

I know this is a very late post, but Eibach is better for your ride. They are a perfect fit for the vibe. You literally drop them into place without tweaking. In addition, handling is impecable, with unbelievable control. I know this first hand at 80 mph while avoiding a a car that stole my lane.
