I just went outside to go start up my car and as i was turning the key, the hole front end of the car just started shaking violently as the car was trying to turn on but as soon as it started shaking as it did, i immediately turned it off. I've heard of a little "choking" when you turn the car on sometimes like it doesn't want to start but not was it ever this bad.....what could be the problem? It is definately cold out, about 30 degrees, but would this really matter? I tried starting it up again and then it ran fine.
Try turning the key to "on" but not "start. Then after 2-4 seconds continue to turn the key to "start". It takes several seconds for the fuel pump to pressurize the fuel system. It might help, worth a try.
