so basically, what you're saying is if one coasts at 55 mph in neutral, they'll get superior fuel economy, eh?

You can get the best mileage with the engine off while being towed.

NEW Vibe Stats:STOCK AirBox1ZZFEAutoMatic87 Octane Gas & Octane Booster205/17/50 TiresIdle = 750 RPM @ .2 @ Gallons Per HourCold Start Idle = 1500 RPM @ .5 Gallons Per HourIdle Engine Load = 24Idle Engine Load in neutral = 14Accelerating MPG @ 2500 RPM Over Drive on = 7 - 20MPG (lol)Interesting that I never reach over 3GPH anymore, I can even stay under 2GPH (Gallons per Hour)Coasting @ 55 MPH (foot off the pedal) = 200 MPGCoasting @ 55 MPH (foot off the pedal) in neutral = 280 MPGI Put in some Octane Booster later & set the cruise at 45MPH & got a constant 38MPGConclusion for the day.Short Ram Intakes sux bad. The engine shows a lower load, lower idle GPH usage, smoother & stronger idle with the stock box.I would figure an Short Ram Intake would result in lower engine load but it seems that the SR intake was actually dropping HP thus working the engine more.

With the engine off, hit the home button to turn the ScanGauge on, then throw the car in neutral and let it roll... It reads 999 MPG.

Did you reset the car computer and recalibrate the scangage before taking the readings. You are not comparing apples to apples. the car takes about a tank of gas to reset on its own. Also My scangauge 2 recommends driving for a tank after filling up then refill and set the gal. used to fine tune the readings. I am seeing much better readings than you with my SR.

Im still in the process of calibrating it, I did reset the ECU before swapping out the SR Intake with the stock airbox.Right now Im just throwing a buncha numbers around, but I really need to find out why the short ram is performing so poorly.

My SR performed poorly at first then it got better. I amwaiting until I get a few more miles on with the scangauge before I do anything. I do know my MPG ( overall performance) is bad when the car is not warmed up.
