Is it a GM warranty or is it from a different company? It was ~$1900 US for a GM warranty good for 54,000 mi (86,904 km) on mine, bumper-to-bumper GM MajorGuard warranty, zero deductible. Not sure what that translates to in Canadian currency. I got a $4,000 transmission out of the deal plus a bunch of other smaller stuff, so it wasn't too bad. If it is through GM, and you think you may need it, it's never a bad idea. If it isn't GM... Some 3rd party warranties can be questionable, often aren't worth the paper they are written on though. Welcome back, by the way. Haven't seen ya around in a while!
