Sirius SIR-GM1 in a 2006

Post by fmwright »

Ok, I bought the SIR-GM1 and hooked it up to the factory XM connector in the rear of the car. Had it activated and guess what - It wont work. Strange thing is if I turn off the key, then hold the RCL button when I turn the key on, I can tune into Sirius for about 3 seconds before it jumps back to FM1. Tech support at Sirius was totally useless.Any suggestions before I send this thing flying back through the Sirius office window??

YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

I believe it was proven that even though they list the Vibe as compatible, it won't work for us.Check out this link:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=24198
