Mine is the ringer called "No Ringer." Sometimes. A couple people get their own ringer, this way I can still keep in touch with them but not hear everyone else's calls by setting the default to no ringer.I use the defaults that came on the phone (Sanyo 4900.) I found this phone lacking some of the others that were on my older Sanyos, so I found the MIDI's for those and put them on. Wow. I used to do more with these things... At one point a few phones ago, I had great MIDI renditions of fantastic tunes such as Devo's Whip It, the theme from CHiPS, etc. I'm not much into the real music ones, I tried that years ago back when I had to convert the MP3's back into wavs, then take those into qcp's, then upload to the phone and pray there was enough space or something wouldn't error out... I wasn't a fan of the lower than AM quality sound back then and I'm not really one now. I understand that it's all the rage now though. lol! It really sucked when a dude at work with a razor (or whatever motorola's misspelling for the word is) and have to have him tell me "dude, listen to the new ringtone I made!" and force me to listen to whatever mp3 he put on the dumb thing every other day.

I just have a basic ring tone on my phone. I have found the music ring tones tend to blend in to well.....However, I did download a special ringtone for my wife. It's basically a p*ssed off wild bobcat howling. Nothing is more fun than being in Target...having my wife call me...my phone go nuts and the person next to me says..."what is that?"....to which I reply...it's my wife!

Clocks by Coldplay. Although I'm generally a classic rock fan I really enjoy this particular song plus with Verizon service I have only access to so many ringtones which I have to purchase from them due to their "locked" phones. I love their service as far as reception but I hate that you have to use their "get it now" service for anything and you have to hack the phone to use it to its full potential. I haven't tried hacking mine because I'm afraid of screwing it up.Oh well, trade offs for everything.Mike

I have either "Clocks" by Coldplay--one of my all time favorite groups and songs, but right now it's "All at Once" by The Fray. I also have it on Vibrate because I can never hear it ring in my purse.
I have a program called BitPim where you can take any MP3, edit it and upload it to your phone as a ringtone. I don't pay for anything unless I have too.
Jim and I tried that bitpim on my phone but couldn't get it to work (probably my &#@$% PC), so, the two songs that I have right now, I purchased from Verizon's Get It Now. Just because I didn't want to mess with it .
It doesn't work with all phones unfortunately. Mostly LG and Motorola and a few Samsung and Sanyo thrown in for good measure.http://www.bitpim.org/help/Then click on "phone features supported."
currently i have the guitar intro from "barracuda" by heart for anyone who calls in. i bought it from VZW's get it now. the tones i have seem to be good quality, nothing fuzzy or distorted. on dh's phone when i'm calling him, the ringtone is queensryche's "revolution calling". although i'm really liking the imperial death march idea for when my boss calls... i don't have the time, patience, or knowhow to upload or hack from another source.
