Installed Streetbeat 3pc Grille for 05-07 Vibes

Post by skitime »

Installed the 3 piece grille from Street Beat Customs. The link for the grilles is http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/apsp85101a.html. They were only $63.15 delivered. They are painted and only the front surface is polished which I feel gives a better quality appearance. Fit and finish was excellent. Some grilles I have seen are only aluminum on all surfaces. I did not like that look. Installation was very easy. You do not have to even remove your plastic grilles. They simply bolt onto the plastic grilles with supplied hardware. This brings the grilles out further which allows them to be seen better. Here are some pics. Let me know what you think of them. Thanks

It looks good, but I think you should get the other 2 pieces as well so the whole grill maches, then it would be awesome!

I think you should take off the sport pkg sell it to me and with the money get the rest of the grill to match the bottom half and it would be complete, the answer to the problem, lol j/k Like Jason pointed out, it just missing a piece of the puzzle to be complete. But I do like, I have the same front body style.... nuvibe

I like the grills. I too want to get the billet grills for my vibe. However like the rest here suggested I want the matching upper grills and when I called streetbeat customs they couldn't get the upper grills and only carried the lower grills. I seen a vender on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...QrdZ1 that carries all five peices but from the feedback I noticed that their grills are mounted by freaking zip ties. I am not too keen on zip tieing my grills on. Does any one know of another vender that carries all FIVE peices for the vibe?

Thanks to all for your comments good or bad. I personally do not like to billet main grilles that I have seen. They look unfinished with the chrome trim missing which gives the appearance of being homemade. What I am thinking of doing with mine is to paint the main grille salsa to compete the monochrome scheme on the rest of the my Vibe.

Here is the roof rack which is also painted to match the car. I hate to see the Vibes with body color spoiler alongside the back and aluminum roof rack. It just makes it look like someone added a spoiler to a wagon in my opinion.
