Genvibe Home Showcase Extravaganza!

Post by AKLGT »

Since it seems that many of our members are in the home/house/dwelling buying spirit lately, we may as well have a thread where we can post up pics of our new pride and joys, maybe get some ideas on what or where to put things, how to make that empty space seem not so empty, etc. please post an external pic of the house, city and state (or province for our Northern friends), when purchases (or time frame), and the basic info: bedrooms, baths, garage, levels, residential footage, if you have a yard or not, etc. then post some pics of the inside decorations or if you are working on a project in the house, would be great to see some before and after pics. so i'll go first and post next.

Here's our place. Nothing too fancy. It's about 1320 sq ft. The lot is very small but typical for suburban living in Calgary. We bought the place in July '06 and will likely be selling this spring. Since buying it we put a little shrub garden in the front, put hardwood in the living room and now I'm in the process of putting tile down in the entry, kitchen and 2.5 baths.

yes, don't have it all the time (thankfully since it eats up the garage), but when i wash it, need to thaw it so it's not frozen:

yes. we have a company Tahoe, Trailblazer, and 2 GM tech vans. I usually drive the Trailblazer around since no one else seems to care about it. The Tahoe is driven by our Indirect Sales Manager (heads up the resellers) and the tech vans are driven (obviously) by the techs. it's come in quite handy this winter for sure! my LGT bottoms out pretty easy. Beautiful homes, everybody! Congrats to all the new homeowners! Sadly, it'll take me years before I get to go homeshopping again...

i'll post some pictures of my condo when I get my camera batteries charged again hopefully tonight. I plan on doing some stuff with the kitchen and dining area but that probably won't be until after my deployment.

So depressing! I live in a small two-bedroom townhouse that looks like time forgot it. It's pretty funny to see the outside when you know what's inside..Unfortunately I only have pictures of the inside..well..of my desk, anyway. And that's not even up to date..there's three monitors mounted to the wall above the four directly in the center of the pic..

Do you have a T3 line or something coming in for all those? LOL, I think the CIA should be worried about that set up, you could officially run a small contry from that desk.
