Thanks to everyone for your input on the Tornado. I just installed a K&N air filter and have noticed some performance change. I couldn't tell you if it is just in my head but it seems more responsive. I don't have access to the equipment to comment scientifically on the actual inhancement percentages. Since I'm not racing my car anytime in the future, the most important thing is how it makes me feel. This should hold me over until I can get a intake kit. Any other suggestions to enhance performance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

You should have probably held off on buying the K&N filter until after purchasing the intake kit. I'm not sure about the AEM cold air intake kit, but i know that the Injen one comes with a K&N cone filter included.Otherwise, I have used K&N filters before, and my feelings about them are about identical to yours. I would have bought one for my Vibe already, but like I said, it is included with the Injen CAI that I hope to be getting soon.
