Well, I have a FWD GT and it did just fine. I did not have to change anything for winter conditions.

The only thing I did is to put a set of winter tire

My FWD Base w/ice radials was perfect. No problems. Could have used more snow though

Cold weather had no effect. The Vibe started fine no matter how cold it was. There was only one good snow in my area, and the snow was cleared of most roads before I had to drive. So I can't respond to how well the stock tires performed on snow.But... This is Kansas, and we may well have snow this weekend. I'll let you know.KSNeptune.

It was a bit sluggish to start when it got under -10 degrees F, but other than that.....I even drove it in a foot of snow and did really well...I"m pleased

-35 C and it didn't start as well, even made a bit of a funny noise. I will be switching to synthetic oil before next winter and using that from now on. it should help out on extreme days. Otherwise the car has been great all winter, good heater, good ABS, a bit of a trick to get going on ice but managable.
