Drivers Seat Lift

Post by djb383 »

Is the lift mechanism on the drivers seat hydraulic? Has anyone noticed their seat gradually getting lower, not holding in the raised position? Thanks.

Nope, haven't had a problem with it. Mine's as high as it goes, and I occasionally mistake the height lever for the recline one but it never goes any higher when I pull on it.

reminds me of a story i once heard...a guy wants to get back at a cranky customer he keeps getting at his restaurant. this customer would always sit at the same table. so over time he would shave off a eighth of an inch from the chair. the chair would keep getting lower and lower...until one day the customer stopped showing up not sure why he didn't like going to that restaurant anymore.anybody else drive the car and may be adjusting it..then trying to adjust back without you noticing?
I have signatures turned off so I'm not even sure what mine says in this space!

Just the wife and I, we both ask each other if we lowered the seat 'cause we both like it high and it keeps dropping. Jenny Craig, here we come. There, I said it, so no one else has to.

Yes. It is the most annoying thing ever. I have to adjust it everytime I get in. The Vibe really needs a power seat. I gotta find a way to fix this.
