All of these arrowheads seem to fade... That's what prompted me to go out and buy grafxwerks stuff.I've been watching since this was always something I was ticked off about. Just about every Vibe I see that doesn't have an overlay has a pinkish emblem back there, it's not appearing like these are isolated incidents.

Mine was faded/pink when I got it...I removed it the second day I had my car because having the Lava caused the pinkish color to look even more pink and stand out like crazy...interesting side note - the dealer wouldn't remove it for me, stating it was OEM equipment and that removal of OEM equipment could potentially void the warranty...basically, the salesman was an idiot and probably didn't want to send it to the detail shop again before I got out of there...no biggie..

I think I saw this very same one on an Aztek, it appeared to be of the same dimensions as the vibe one (didn't have a Vibe there to compare though to say for 100%) and of course was pink... Haven't seen this on other Pontiac models though, so some other supplier has things right.

Mine is pink as well. I will have to change that I hate the color pink.
Mrs. White: Yes, I did it. I killed Yvette. I hated her so... much... it... it... the... it... the... fee... flames... flames... on the side of my face... heaving... breathless... heaving breaths...
When I was de-overlaying my vibe for trade in, I yanked the rear arrowhead overlay and it was still bright cherry red. Granted, I only had the car for a year or so before I started throwing overlays on it...
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
My rear arrow turned a nice peachy pink too. Its funny because I never really noticed it until about 2 months ago. Covered it up with a bright red grafxwerks overlay. As for the front, it seems to be holding up well, but it has been covered up by the bra about 95% of the time.
Mine is pink already too. I'm ordering one from a G6 Coupe. BTW, they used the Vibe rear hatch badge on the sides of the last run of Bonneville's too....keep your eyes open for Bonnie's with pink badges!!

Quote, originally posted by NascarXprt »has anyone figured out WHY the rear arrow heads on all of the vibes are fading this fast??I believe that's becuase of exposure to that big orange thing up in the sky. Methinks the material it is made of just can't deal with the elements... Mine was really bad since the car's rear end was facing east in the morning so I guess that was accelerating the damage. I also had similar fading on the outline of the Pontiac emblem on the Vibe license frame I had.

Actually I got so sick of looking at mine, that i debaged the arrow today, and are looking for a better one. Had GM not made these emblems so cheap and thin, it may have held up
