The real talent comes in the shading. If you notice while you watch at the clip the drawing does not look like much, untill they start shading and adding shadows. Then they realy pop. I could never draw somthing that nice on a computer but I can free hand.

you'd be surprised fishy, that's what graphic design is all about! what he did was make a rough outline, then he replaced those lines with clean curves by using what's called a pen tool. it's all done by mouse.
