Just installed a new radio and I have no AM

Post by slbpsi63 »

the audio shop put in the atenna booster and I still don't have any AM stations. I don't listen much but I like to listen to my local sports teams when they are playing to break away from the monotany of music. Any suggestions what the problem could be?

I put in an aftermarket deck in mine and used a Metra wiring harness. I read on a post that the antenna is amplified and the new wiring harness may not have a power lead for the antenna.(?) I also do not receive any AM stations with the aftermarket deck. I only listen to FM anyways, but it would be nice to be able to get some local news, etc.
