Just Picked up Sputnik!

Just got back from the Pontiac Dealer where I picked up my Satellite Base Vibe. I LOVE IT! I love the sunroof... I've never had a car with a sunroof before. I love the colour, love the interior, love the storage compartments... love the new car smell.

Nope wasn't me. I didn't pick up mine until after 6:30. Took my parents out for a ride in it tonight. I think they liked it.

Yesterday we went to garage sales and the last one we were at, as we were getting out of the Vibe we noticed an older man running up towards our car saying "Excuse me!" Anyway we thought "what does he want... did we run over his dog??" He wanted to ask us about our car! So we answered his questions and went to the garage sale and when I looked back he was still looking at our car. I never knew people would come and ask you about your car (since I only drove a Cavalier before and who hasn't seen one of those!). Today at the grocery store as I was walking back two people who parked beside me were giving my car the once over. Pretty neat!

Took my friend for a ride in Sputnik last night... first time she's seen it since I picked it up. She loved it! Took it home on the weekend... my brother locked the steering wheel and I couldn't get the key to turn. Caused me a few moments of panic since that never happened on my Cavalier. I asked my brother how he liked it and he says "Its okay I guess." Then as soon as his girlfriend arrived he dragged her out to see it and was showing her all the features. Guess it must be more than "ok"

Yeah I was pretty impressed with the colour... I was walking up a hill towards the car and noticed all those leaves were at the right angle for a pretty good photo.
