Hi, I just bought myself a brand new 06 vibe and like everyone on this forum, I absolutely LOVE IT! (Gotta love this site too!)Got a question... I was looking for a rear bumper protector for my vibe and when I checked out the vibe protector and I wasn't impressed... It's too small for the bumper and it doesn't look like it'll protect it. I was looking at the matrix protectors and they seem much bigger, however, I don't know if it'll fit the vibe bumper... I know they are clones however, I know their body styling is a bit different too.Thank you!
stop by a toyota dealer and see if they will let you place it on the bumper to see how it would look/fit. Our cars are simular but in certain appearance aspects not so much. I am not sure how different the rear is.

Get the one that fits over the edge. I put one on my '06 Vibe with no problems.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem I bought mine from these guys. Excellent seller. Have it shipped by USPS mail to save UPS brokerage fees or drive down to Washington and pick it up at The UPS store closest to the border. $5.00 per item to pick up.
Viberaider? ... hehehe nice one .. BTW: I have the OE Vibe protector, and well, it's more of a decoration than a real protector.. oh well. I didn't know.
Are the Vibe protector and Matrix Protector the same? I have this on my list of mods(lol)
Mrs. White: Yes, I did it. I killed Yvette. I hated her so... much... it... it... the... it... the... fee... flames... flames... on the side of my face... heaving... breathless... heaving breaths...
I put one on mine, works fine, looks good, and covered up some nicks and scratches.I don't know why they didn't come with one to begin with, I would have gladly paid a little more for a stock bumper protector, especially in that area. Poor planning on GM's part, IMHO.
Be careful ordering the Toyota part from a Toyota Dealer!! They no longer stock the one pictured, their's in now just like ours, a flat-useless piece.......*sighs*

Look on EBay for the bumper cover for a 2003 Toyota Matrix. I bought mine for $23.00 just a few months ago. The seller was DeLand Toyota and it fit perfectly.
I just purchased mine on Ebay from DeLand Toyota, advertised as a Vibe Bumper Protector. In my research, I have found that Toyota sold both versions of the step pad - I've seen several older Matrix on autotrader with the step pad we thought was only used on the Vibe.I'll have to wait until the weather warms up a little to put it on. My keyless entry beep module is on it's way too. Come on Spring!
I also bought mine from Deland Toyota and made sure it was the "wraparound" type. It was shipped promptly and installed easily. I just hope the 2-sided tape will hold for a long time.Mike
