I think I can describe it, but if not I will borrow a camera one day from a buddy. When I pop off the silver thing around the stereo, the AC buttons and recycle air buttons are on the piece I am talking about. Well under those 2 buttons, there is the blank button in front, but on the back the black cable thing going into the white/yellow piece. Well I broke the 2 TINY clips that hold that cable in place. Now i hear a rattle noise when I accelerate. I have been wondering WHAT that cable was for and if it is why the car rattles when I accelerate. It sounds like it is coming from where the radio is.Any help would be MUCH appreciated. If I didn't do a good job of describing what I am referring to, yell at me and I will try again and try to borrow a camera.

the cable is the trigger to deactivate the recirculate button if you tun the knob into either defrost mode.in terms of rattling try securing the cable with some tape and see if the attle stops. if it does get that part replaced.
