Well, i guess i did it. (new Car)

Post by mcgusto82 »

I know i posted a topic on a new vehicle before, but this a different car, so please bear with me..Yesterday, i went down to check out the murrranos. I saw a few that i liked. I even drove one. The ride is much different than the CX-7 i was ranting on about before. The MAZDA is difenately sportier car. If i was going to be the primary driver of the new car, i would've settled for nothing else. But being that my wife is the primary driver of our persoinal; vehicle, then the Murano was a dream come true.We purchased a new black on black leather SL AWD, 06. Brand new. It was he last 06 the dealer had, so we got a good deal. i was able to get 10.5 for the vibe. a 2k hit isn't so bad. This car is fully loaded. HID's, power everything, heated seats ( i no longer have to steal the seats from a 300m), back up camera, auto climate, power pedals, sunroof and bose system. The only thing it doesn't have is the Nav. again, for some reason i am not able to find the cars i like with the nav in dealer inventory.ohh yeah, it has the smart key. a proximity key. no need to take it out of your pocket. one less thing to carry around. i'm going to take some pictures soon. You guys will love it.The CVT reminds me of a jet taking off. The power builds up and never lets go. NICE! long live the vibe. my wife got a little teary eyed. She loved her vibe. Hopefully i got all that i want on a car and won't be looking for something else in a couple of years.

Congrats! My wife loves those. Are you planning anything for it or is it staying stock?

Cool! I have loved the Murano's ever since they came out. Post some pics of that black beauty when you get a chance.

Congrats on the new ride. With regard to the NAV, just go to Walmart and, for a C note, you can get a Garmin GPS that will go on the dash of your new car, your boat, your motorcycle, your golf cart, plus you can carry it in your pocket when your hiking and camping. Let's see some pics.

Congrats! The same trans company that makes your CVT makes the one in my Jeep - JATCO.The CVT is neat did not take me long to get used to it. Even with my 172 HP the CVT makes the vehicle pull like it has more then 172HP!

Muranos are steller... My moms got one to replace her vibe (why i have it now)she loves it... she wanted one when she got the vibe but chose a smaller car. Now she didnt care. Sounds identical to yours only Silver and has the Nav. Sweet car.Enjoy it, gobs of power and the CVT is seamless. Gotta love that AWD too.

Had a brand new rental just off the truck exactly the same as yours while in Phoenix. Wasn't a fan. It just felt really doggish and blah to me. The interior was really nice, though. Love the user-friendly controls and stereo system. The looks aren't so bad, either. Now if we're talking about their cousin, FX45, then that's a whole different story!Congrats on the new car, man! Enjoy it!
