I have a done bunch of searching here as well as over at MO. However, I can not seem to find a definitive answer to the following question . . .Will 15 x 6 (or 6.5) steel wheels with a 5 x 100 bolt pattern and 39mm offset work on the '03 Vibe GT that has stock disk brakes all around? If so - Where is the best place to get a set of these wheels (price)? If not - What size should I be looking for ?These are obviously for winter tires. I have run Blizzak's for many years now on several vehicles, couldn't even tell you how many sets I have gone through. I am completely sold on this tire, and hope to try the REVO 1 this year. For the last 3 years I ran the WS-50's on 16 inch Aluminum rims (205/55 16's on Sport Edition F5 - 16 x 7.5 wheels)While they are a very good combination, the footprint is a little too big for the car to make it optimal in snow or slush. (I am only basing this on a lot of seat-time experience)Another issue is that the flat area on the wider wheels loads up, and then slides to the bottom where it freezes when stopped. This makes it feel like the tires are square when you start out the next morning.I am hoping that the steel wheels are less affected by this.Anybody got any other winter wheel advice for the Vibe GT?
