Here is a picture of two Intruders from my old squadron VA65 Flying Tigers, attached to the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, during the time I served. If you look closely, you can see the tigers on the tail.

I was prior Army. I will dig up a few pics. I still work with the army on Ft. Bragg with USASOC. As I recall there are alot of Vibers in the military. I am trying to "recruit" a few people from Bragg to join Gen Vibe.

And we have the best looking uniforms;) I went to my A-school @ Lakehurst, NJ (where the Hindenburg crashed and burned). A Navy base and there were only a couple dozen of US. Everytime we marched to the chow hall (not much more then 12 of us), the larger formation of sailors would break ranks and march around us. It was so funny!Just don't get me started on the Zoomies.

I worked in the Communications shop for the 44th med.Fun job, got to do some R&D. Helped design TeleMed, which has been credited with saving the lives or limbs of over 120K solders. At that time it was a tool we designed for BG Peak, so he could talk other surgeons through surgery from his office (At that time he was the only ARMY orthoscopic surgeon in the coastal US). Congress got word of it, took it over, passed it over to the ARMY R&D, they turned it into TeleMed.Then went to Germany where I spent 18 of 36 months deployed or in the field. Spent a lot of time in Bosnia. Got to escort the German Army across its borders for the first time since WWII. That was interesting, a lot of post-WWII tension was still present in that area.I actually loved the ARMY. It taught me skills that I never would have learned in the civilian world, let alone exposed me to things that no civilian will ever have the opportunity to experience. It is too bad that it is turned out to be a haven for the retarded. Had to follow too many incompetent leaders and was ordered to do too many things that I felt were unethical.

There were some really sharp people in there. People I admired. Then there were those who were only there because they couldn't make it on their own without Uncle Sam holding their hand. It was those people that made me leave. Looking back, I wish I would have stayed and did my 20. The funny thing is I've been working on Navy contracts as a civilian ever since I left the Navy, dealing with some of those same people. Life's kind of funny that way.
